Ukrainian citizens are able to stay anywhere within the EU for a period up to 90 days without any visa. The EU has implement the Temporary Protection Directive (TPD), to provide Ukrainians with immigration options throughout the EU. After arriving in an EU country, Ukrainian citizens will be able to apply for TPD status which will give them rights to travel freely, work and also give them access to social benefits such as housing and healthcare. Czechia continues to support Ukrainian nationals who have been forced to leave Ukraine due to Russia's invasion. As long as you do not have a long term visa or temporary protection from another country, you will be able to apply for a temporary protection in Czechia. Entry to Czechia
Czechia allows Ukrainian nationals to stay for up to 90 days without a visa. It is recommended to have a biometric passport because many institutions, such as banks, require a passport as the form of identity verification, however if you are able to prove your identity using a Ukrainian ID card you will be able to apply for temporary protection.
Within 3 days of arriving in Czechia you must register your address with police of the Czech Republic, if you are staying in a hotel or hostel this obligation will be fulfilled by the accommodation provider. Failure to keep your address registration up to date can result in your temporary protection being cancelled.
